Michael Auer confirmed as board member of the ZVEI Satellite & Cable Division
At the end of October, the general meeting of the ZVEI Satellite & Cable Division unanimously elected Herbert Strobel (Astro Strobel Kommunikationssysteme) as chairman and Axel Sihn (WISI Communications) as deputy chairman for another three years. KATHREIN Digital Systems’ managing director Michael Auer was also confirmed as board member.

Since its foundation in 1952, the ZVEI Satellite & Cable Division has represented the economic, technological and environmental interests of its member companies at national and international levels vis-à-vis politics, standardisation bodies and other parties in the value chain. These include network operators or the trade and the public. The ZVEI Satellite & Cable Division is committed to advancing the digitisation of the broadcasting networks and developing them into interactive multimedia networks. The emphasis is on equal rights for satellite, cable and terrestrial transmission.
