SPECIAL FEATURES
■ Distribution network amplifier for satellite and terrestrial range in a Kathrein sat IF distribution system with 4 x sat IF
■ Five amplifiers (4 x sat IF and 1 x terrestrial range) in one housing
■ High amplifier unit dynamic range
■ High decoupling between amplifier units
■ Terrestrial amplifier unit has CATV capability due to GaAs output stage
■ For indoor installation
■ Incrementally adjustable attenuator (1 dB graduation) for satellite and terrestrial range (all satellite branches are adjusted simultaneously)
■ Incrementally adjustable pre-equalisation (2/4/6 dB) in satellite range (all satellite branches are adjusted simultaneously)
■ Power supply to VWS 2551 and LNB feed by remote feeding from the multi-switch, e.g. EXR 2508, via the “horizontal low” satellite branch
■ Optionally the power supply to the VWS 2551 can come from the DC connection using the NCF 18 power supply unit (not included)
■ The power supply from the DC connection only supplies the amplifier itself, it does not take over the LNB feed
■ Kathrein Power-Saving: In installations that support Kathrein Power-Saving (KPS), the LNB supply is switched off as soon as no receiver is in operation.
